Danau Love (Emfote), Sentani, Jayapura, Papua

Danau Love (Danau Emfote) means Lake Love, called so because of the heart shape that we can see from the path we entered this area. It's actually an oasis in the middle of savannah. The view was green as far as your eyes can see, and the blue sky.

Lake Love was located in Yoka, Sentani, about two hours driving from Jayapura City. Just use ggogle map, it's been a favorite location for photographers.

The road lead us there is serving the nicest scenery of savanna, lake Sentani, and deep blue sky.

Binuangeun, Banten.

Binuangeuen located in south side of western Java, in the province of Banten. It takes about 7 hours driving from Jakarta. The beach is heading to the open water of Hindia Ocean, making this beach line rich with huge waves

.The People

The local villagers live as fisherman, They sail the raging ocean with traditional wooden boats and spend few nights before going back home. The fishes they catch, they sell into the local fish market .

The waves in Binuangeun reach approximately 3 to 5 meters, and this cape of Binuangeun is the meeting point of three different direction of wind, waves, and underwater stream, makes this beach line is absolutely unsafe and dangerous to swim. 

The Legend

In Binuangeun you can find the legendary story about "Sawah Kabayan" or Kabayan's Rice field. It is some reefs that looks like terrace rice field. Some seaweed grows inside of it just like the young rice that was planted by the farmers. in fact there was no one ever planted anything. 

The story says that long time ago there was a young nomad named Kabayan (the famous legend in West Java), One day Kabayan pass over Binuangeun and see a flat area which he thought it would be suitable for making some rice field. So he started to dig and making the terrace layers. After few hours of working, Kabayan get so tired and fell asleep. He didnt realize that the ground he dug was actually beach in low tide. When he awaken, all he saw was water drowning the rice field he was just made.

The Sunset

Sunset in Binuangeun is one of the most beautiful sunset i ever see.    

ujung genteng, west java

Ujung genteng located in the west end of Java island. This place has so many beautiful beach, and millions of coconut trees.

Suramadu bridge, Surabaya

Suramadu bridge was finished built on March 31st 2009.  Connecting Surabaya and Bangkalan, Madura.

Unfortunately i couldn't get a chance to take the picture of the whole bridge.
